Guide to choose your first crystals

If you are just entering the world of crystals, first of all, do not panic. I know it can be overwhelming with the sheer number of crystals out there and you are probably wondering where do I start? Which ones do I choose? Well then, let me tell you that there is no possibility of error. Yes, you read it right. You can't go wrong with crystals! However, here are my top tips to make choosing your crystals a fun and light process.

1. There is no possibility of error.

As I was saying, you cannot go wrong, since there is no right choice. In fact, if you have ever seen our videos preparing orders, you will see that there is not a single order like it. With this I want to tell you to get rid of that pressure you may be feeling to choose the right crystals. No pressure, any choice is a sure hit!

2. Guide yourself by your intuition.

Intuition never fails, in fact I trust my intuition more than my head... Are you also part of this team ? If you are one of those people who want to have everything under control, and you are getting overwhelmed by not seeing the crystals you want clearly, my advice would be to try to flow and listen to your intuition. Which crystals naturally attract your attention the most? Perhaps you have even seen some, in my videos, that you found prettier than others. Even if you are not aware of it, you already have all this information.

3. What use do you want to give it?

Surely you already know that there are many forms of minerals: rounded, massive, geodes, generators, monoliths, spheres... Knowing what use you want to give to your crystals will help you refine your search criteria a bit. For example, if you are clear that you want to carry your crystals with you 24 hours a day, I would opt for something small, like some rounds or even some jewelry. On the other hand, if you want a crystal to decorate your room, place on your nightstand or use during your meditation, you have other options such as generators or palmstones , for example, which would be more suited to this other purpose.

4. How are you feeling right now? Go through the properties.

Characteristic properties are attributed to each crystal, for example, some crystals can help you calm down, others, on the contrary, can cheer you up and give you energy, attract money, improve your mood, your self-esteem or your productivity.

Do some introspection work. Look inside. How do you feel, right now? What do you need? And from there, research which minerals are best suited for your situation. For example, if you have recently been feeling very nervous or anxious, blue calcite is a mineral whose properties could come in handy. However, my advice is to do your research and find out which minerals you are most attracted to.

5. The colors.

The colors, the most beautiful of crystals. Did you know that color is indicative of properties? For example, blue minerals tend to bring calm, unlike orange or red minerals whose properties are usually energetic. If a specific mineral catches your attention because of its color, this is another totally valid way to choose your crystals.

As you can see, you have infinite options and ways to choose your crystals and, at the same time, zero chances of being wrong. So take any pressure off and enjoy your choice.

If all this still seems too much to you, we have available a Kit with already selected crystals to start in this beautiful world: the STARTER KIT. This Kit includes: carnelian, crystal quartz, amethyst, rose quartz and tourmaline. You can see it here.

  • Buenas tardes Julia,
Hoy he recibido mis pequeñines y he de decirte que estoy encantada.
